Jo's Journey Ends

Jo Hudgins, loving mother and friend to all, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 13, 2009. She wanted us to celebrate her life at the Hopedale Unitarian Universalist Community near Oxford, Ohio (to be held Sunday September 27, 2009 beginning at 3:00 pm). We did this: we brought drums and favorite memories to share, and we celebrated with her favorite things, a campfire and s'mores.

Jo left five children, seven grandchildren, her adoring husband and three cats who couldn't leave her alone.

Jo was Butler County Democratic Party's 2008 Volunteer of the Year, their webmistress, and was a Butler County Progressives PAC member. Jo loved all her wonderful times with OGADE (Oxford Gourd And Drum Ensemble).

To miss her is understandable. To ignore her was impossible. To support us, please contribute as you will to the no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
