Billyography

This photograph shows Bill and bike just after he outgrew his trike.

Biker Bill

The frame was taller than his size, the butt of jokes for other guys.

Sometimes his pants caught in the chain. He learned to pull them out again.
Riding "no hands" was Bill's big thrill until one day he lost that skill.
While carrying some groceries, he hit a bump and scraped his knees
Right through his pants, which made him sore enough to ride "no hands" no more.

But that was four decades ago. Now unemployed, Bill doesn't know

What turns his life cycle may take, so he is looking for a break.
He's back to riding with "no hands", but now it seems he understands
That though he has no place to go, it still makes sense to take it slow.

Meanwhile he's typing all my pages, taking hugs instead of wages.

When you are traveling in tandem, life seems not to be so random.
