To own a honey farm, a spread where I'd grow toppings for my bread. |
| I'd need some beehives, tall and wide, which bees could colonize inside, |
| But first I'd plant a million flowers, letting Nature, with her showers, |
| Water them and make them blossom. The whole effect would be so awesome! |

Out I marched with spade and trowel, but I soon threw in the towel. |
| I wasn't built for agribusiness. Going hoeing causes dizziness. |
| Instinctively I should have known that bears should leave the farm alone. |
| We're fearsome hunters! That's our role. Any other takes its toll. |
| The kitchen is my territory. When I find honey I'm in glory. |

I wonder. Can it be a fact that we've survived so long intact |
| By instinct curbing impulse which keeps us from dying in a ditch? |
