The Belle of the Bald?

This friend of mine, as you will see, is named after a pot of tea.

Merv wonders: should I steal her hat?

She is more comforting to me than any herbal remedy.

That hat she wears defines her well; reminds me of a Southern Belle.
She looks just like a "20's flapper". Good thing that cloche has no clapper!
She says there's music in her head, but what she hears, she's never said.

Just once, I tried to wear her hat, but Jasmine would have none of that.

I thought perhaps I heard a song, but didn't get to listen long.
She grabbed her hat and tied it tight, and now she wears it day and night.

It's not that Jasmine will not share, for Jasmine is a caring bear,

But NOT HER HAT!  (She's very wary when you swipe her millinery).

I wonder. Can it be a fact that clothes we wear have such impact

On the self-image that we bear, that who we are is what we wear?
