WORKING BEARS So bears are starting now to write! They sit up late into the night, And tap the keys with stubby paws. While owners sleep, they type, because When owners wake, bears must not seem To have been working. It's a dream. |
I've never seen a bear at work, Stenographer, or typist-clerk, Although if there were some who could, I'm sure they would be really good. To hire them would be economic, For they'd not need those ergonomic Chairs. Bears simply sit all day Where they are put, and there they stay. |
Of course, because I haven't seen A bear at work, that doesn't mean That they can't really do their stuff, That they have only brains of fluff It's just that they work while I sleep, And I can't keep the hours they keep. |
And some have Macs and some use SPARC And gosh knows what else in the dark. There is no word too tuff to spell, At Word for Windows they Excel. They probably stay up all night And use spellcheckers when they write. |

And so from evening until dawn,
Go for it, Bears! Write On! Write On!

Ears are not handles
You have to scratch their ears for them since they can't reach them
Bears are very accepting
Bears are very curious about everything
They like to be left close to the TV remote control
They always listen to everything you need to say
