My kids--Grant, Lee, Dan, Amy & Kip--and I are originally from Columbus, Ohio. As the kids grew up and moved away, they spread out through the U.S., and I moved to a different country after marrying this great Canadian guy. I always thought the kids and I would be able to live closer together and that I would be able to help with the grandkids but, alas, that didn't happen.
My daughter took this picture of Bill and me in November 1997 against the backdrop of a beach picture that we had hanging in our dining room. Ever since I lived in Florida, I love palm trees. Someday, maybe soon, I'll get to live there again.
